Tales

1
Tilaya's hair looks deceptively soft, but it's as stubborn as a mule, just like its owner.

2
To her brother Yohan, an angry Tilaya is a far more terrifying sight than any beast the jungle could conjure. She's definitely scarier than a hawk moth.

3
Tilaya is not one to seek a fight, but she would never shy from one. To shield those she held dear, she would forever stand at the forefront, a sentinel with a giant blade in hand.

4
Before the Hunting Goddess' demise, a young Tilaya was a candidate to become a sacrifice. She was passed over because an offering should be reverent and pliable and should not possess the raw strength that could pulverize solid rock.

5
When Tilaya first met Gala, she mistook her quiet nature for a failure in her own conversational skills.

6
Tilaya's parents perished in the previous war, leaving her and her younger brother to rely on each other. She often jokes that "shouldering the burden of caring for a brother" stunted her growth. No one usually laughs at that.

7
Tilaya would carefully weave vines around her sword, a delicate process to correct its balance. However, she remained blissfully unaware that the plants continued to grow, making the blade impossibly heavy.

8
The fresh buds sprouting from Tilaya's horns are a magnet for butterflies and bees, a daily nuisance she'd gladly do without. The young men of the tribe would often help her shoo them away. She found them to be nuisances as well.

9
Before Nazrik left the Wildborn tribe, Tilaya had learned hunting skills from him, but she soon discovered that she was not suited for the spear.

10
Tilaya had met a few of Gala's companions from the Arcane Council. While the sharp-tongued Morgan was easy to read, but Merlin the First unnerved her. She couldn't explain why.
