Contess - Abyssal Rulekeeper

A capricious rule-enforcing Hypogean Support who punishes enemies that violate her rules.
Ultimate - Unlocks at Level 1
Detention Pass
Passive. When a battle starts, Contess hides within her rulebook. While hidden, she cannot move or act, cannot be targeted by enemies, and recovers Energy every second.
She enters the battlefield when her Energy is full, when an enemy violates a rule, or when all other allies are defeated.
Active. Contess restores
666% +
66% HP to a target ally and grants them Exemption.
Exemption: Prevents the target ally from being punished by allied Contess for rule violations. While the ally's HP ratio is above they lose of their max HP every second, converting of the lost amount into a shield. The shield value cannot exceed of the ally's max HP. While this shield is active, the ally's ATK is increased by
When auto battle is enabled, this skill prioritizes the ally with the most cumulative damage dealt who has not yet received Exemption. If all allies have already received Exemption, it instead targets the weakest ally.

1
"Every rule that seems absurdly strict has an even more unbelievable story behind it. Don't believe me? Take a look at the Lyceum's rulebook." — Contess

2
Rule 4, Clause 5: Practicing magic inside the library is strictly prohibited. Rumor has it a student once attempted an explosion spell there. Contess stopped it in time, but nearly a third of the ceiling was destroyed.

3
Rule 6, Clause 1: Students must bow respectfully whenever they encounter the academy rulebook.
There's no dramatic story behind this one. It's simply the result of Contess' rather questionable sense of humor.

4
Contess exists as the physical manifestation of the Lyceum's rulebook. A diligent working Hypogean, Merlin's contract partner... and also Merlin's creditor. According to her, Merlin owes her twenty years of unpaid wages.

5
Due to the restrictions of her contract, Contess can only appear before a few people. Out of boredom, she often pesters Zorya and Leymar to keep her company. Records show that Leymar has been dragged into 3,518 chess matches with her.

6
Despite her workload, Contess knows how to enjoy life. Hot baths, novels, snacks, music—she indulges in all of them. At one point she even asked Zorya to bring back delicacies from across the realm. That request was promptly rejected.

7
The library's lounge had long gone unused, so Contess boldly "requisitioned" it for herself, filling it with personal belongings. "Don't touch anything," she repeatedly warned after Merlin arrived.

8
Contess is full of bizarre and imaginative rule ideas, but she can't write them down herself. Instead, she channels that creativity into writing novels. Rumor has it she may even be behind several famous fanfiction series.

9
At first, Headmaster Leymar opposed placing Contess in the library. But after Merlin demonstrated the useful side of her powers—such as forcing long-ignored rules to be immediately enforced—he finally agreed.

10
Contess' personality shifts constantly and her interests change often. But one goal has never wavered. Revenge against the leader of the Adamant Syndicate.
